Upperville Horses

Horse Farms & Equestrian Places · Virginia Piedmont

About This Site

Upperville Horses is an interactive guide to the horse farms, hunt clubs, show venues, and equestrian community of the Virginia Piedmont — one of the oldest and most storied equestrian regions in the United States. The site features an interactive map, a connection network visualizing relationships between places and people, and detailed profiles with photos and contact information.

The site was built and deployed on AWS (S3 + CloudFront + Route 53) using Claude Code — Anthropic's AI-powered coding tool — working in close collaboration with its human partner.

Vibe Coding

This project was built entirely through vibe coding — a collaborative workflow where a human describes intent and an AI writes, iterates, and deploys the code in real time. No traditional development environment, no manual file editing. Just conversation and code.
